Il satellite CL0800 è una cassa chiusa con un full range da 8 cm. Il volume interno è di circa 1,3 litri. La distorsione è ridotta e l'ascolto piacevole. La scena sonora è precisa ma poco sviluppata in altezza. I bassi sono in secondo piano. Un sub è necessario per migliorare la risposte alle basse frequenze.
The CL0800 satellite is a closed box with an 8cm full range. The internal volume is approximately 1.3 litres. Distortion is reduced and listening is pleasant. The sound stage is precise but poorly developed in height. The bass is in the background. A sub is needed to improve low frequency responses.

Nelle risposte allo step si notano oscillazioni sovrapposte, corrispondono a un picco nella risposta in frequenza a 11 KHz. Costruzione - Construction
La cassa è realizzata con compensato da 20 mm, è sovradimensionata perché sarà usata come camera di compressione nel prossimo progetto MDD, su di essa saranno fissati i carichi acustici frontale e posteriore.
The box is made of 20 mm plywood, it is oversized because it will be used as a compression chamber in the next MDD project, the front and rear acoustic loads will be fixed on it.
Il frontale è in compensato da 4 mm. Un foro di 5 mm è per il cablaggio con cavo UTP cat5 in configurazione star-quad. Il polo positivo usa i fili: bianco-arancio, arancio, bianco-marrone, marrone. Il polo negativo usa i fili: bianco-blu, blu, bianco-verde, verde. Le connessioni sono saldate direttamente sui poli del driver. Il polo negativo passa all'interno del cestello per evitare che il raggio in materiale ferromagnetico attivi fenomeni di isteresi che aumentano la distorsione.
The front is made of 4 mm plywood. A 5mm hole is for cabling with cat5 UTP cable in star-quad configuration. The positive pole uses wires: white-orange, orange, white-brown, brown. The negative pole uses wires: white-blue, blue, white-green, green. The connections are soldered directly onto the driver poles. The negative pole passes inside the basket to prevent the ferromagnetic material beam from activating hysteresis phenomena which increase distortion.
Sul frontale in corrispondenza della verticale del centro dell'altoparlante è fissata l'asta di sostegno in alluminio da 10 mm di diametro.
The 10 mm diameter aluminum support rod is fixed on the front in correspondence with the vertical center of the speaker.
Supporto oscillante a risonanza subsonica - Subsonic resonance oscillating support
La base in legno spessa 19 mm ha tre piedini d'appoggio, due dietro, uno di fronte in posizione asimmetrica per minimizzare risonanze. Sopra il piedino anteriore è fissata una flangia a L in acciaio a cui è fissata l'asta di sostegno della cassa. Le viti di fissaggio sono lunghe alcuni cm per compensare l'inclinazione dovuta al peso della cassa. Il piano di oscillazione del satellite è complanare al movimento del centro del cono dell'altoparlante. La frequenza di oscillazione inferiore a 1 Hz impedisce che ci siano interazioni in banda audio tra il driver e il pavimento.
The 19 mm thick wooden base has three support feet, two behind, one in front in an asymmetric position to minimize resonances. Above the front foot there is a steel L-shaped flange to which the support rod of the case is fixed. The fixing screws are a few cm long to compensate for the inclination due to the weight of the case. The oscillation plane of the satellite is coplanar with the movement of the center of the speaker cone. The oscillation frequency of less than 1 Hz prevents there being interactions in the audio band between the driver and the floor.
